Pickup Mute silences your instrument

The first and arguably most important part of the Silent Brass system is the pickup mute. It dramatically reduces the volume of your horn. It has a pickup mounted inside to capture your sound and transfer it to the Personal Studio Beltpack. Typically, practice mutes add tons of resistance, making you feel like youre playing into a pool noodle. The designers at Yamaha built the Pickup Mute from the ground up to lessen resistance.
