The NUX MG-300 MKII delivers authentic-sounding amp models, effects, and expanded functionality in an amazingly compact and resourceful package. Expanding on the original MG-300, the MG-300 MKII adds greater control over your effects chain routing, introduces Pro Scenes to switch amp and effect parameters within created presets, expands user slots for your favorite third-party IRs, and much more. Incredible tone awaits inside this sub-2-pound frame thanks to its White Box modeling algorithm, which simulates analog circuitry in the more than 25 included amp and over 40 effect models. Also included are a bass amp and bass cabinets, a phrase looper, a drum machine, and an expression pedal to control wah, volume, or other effect parameters in real time. Whether youre practicing silently or on-the-go, or livestreaming on your social media platforms, the 1/8-inch TRRS jack accepts headphones with built-in microphones, and the MG-300 MKII also includes separate microphone output and gate controls to blend your perfect mix between guitar and voice. Finally, the multifunction USB-C port turns your modeler into an audio interface for recording with your favorite DAW, allows complete control via the included QuickTone Software Editor, and facilitates firmware updates in the future. Whether you’re woodshedding or gigging, the MG-300 MKII is an impressively viable solution for any budding or serious musician.
In 2010 NUX introduced TSAC (True Simulation of Analog Circuit) with the sole intention of bringing Amp Modeling to a whole new level. The DSP industry has been evolving at breakneck speed, and keeping up can be a challenge. We were impressed that a product like the Fractal AXE-FX had the foresight to use a high-definition TSAC (white-box) algorithm to do its Amp Modeling. So we took note and started development on an affordable modeler with TSAC-HD.
The concept of Chaos makes the muse perfectly applies to the analog circuit. When you tweak the knob, it affects itself as well as other parameters. For a linear digital system, the parameter is independent. The white-box algorithm offers real negative-feedback, increment-by-increment. NUX TSAC-HD replicates the same playability most guitarists prefer in a real tube amplifier.
Building a sky-high priced product is easy. The art of building an affordable product is a real challenge. We priced the MG-300, with a straightforward high-performance algorithm to not only fit this specific DSP platform, but dominate the multi-efx platform in general.
The NUX MG-300 MKII offers advanced Impulse Responses (IRs) for authentic tone reproduction. It features 25 guitar cab IRs, 8 bass cab IRs, and 3 acoustic IRs, capturing the essence of real-world counterparts from vintage warmth to modern clarity.
