The NUX TIME CORE DELUXE MKII is a delay pedal with 7 different types and a phrase looper; including Phi Digital Delay, Analog Delay, Modulation Delay, Tape Echo, Pan Delay, Verb Delay, Reverse Delay and Sound On Sound. You can switch the delay type by using the Type rotary switch.

Phi Digital Delay is a digital delay with golden ratio 2nd repeat head. It makes your guitar sound more musical. With no-brain tweaking, setup the desired sub-division, smart tap tempo, youre ready to go.

Phi Digital Delay Range: 80ms~1000ms

Analog Delay is based on the timeless BBD (Bucket Brigade Device) delay. It produces a very warm sound with natural treble decay. Very suitable for ballad solos with romantic atmosphere. Our unique algorithm replicates the physical infinity oscillation feedback while you adjust the time knob from max to min quickly.

Analog Delay Range:40ms~403ms

Modulation Delay is based on the Ibanez DML modulation delay. The Chorus gets lush and rich, not at all what you would expect from an ancient digital pedal. Holding the footswitch enters Alt mode (the LED indicator will flash ORANGE.), then the Repeat knob will edit the Mod parameter of this delay. Short press the footswitch again to quit Alt mode.

Modulation Delay Range:20ms~1500ms

Tape Echo is based on the legendary Space Echo machine. We digitally recreated the retro-feel of a real tape and capstan configuration. Tape Echo has the high-frequency saturation and low-end decay of magnetic tape. Its gently modulated for added richness and color. Adjust the time knob from max to min quickly, and youll get the infinity feedback effect.

Tape Echo Range:55ms~552ms

Pan Delay simply moves a mono signal to different places in the stereo field. Our Pan Delay algorithm changes ordinary panning to gourmet panning that involves not only stereo placement but interesting imaging possibilities. It will allow pan moves to feel less extreme where you need placements to feel natural, and more extreme when you want to create sonic ear-candy inside your headphones.

Pan Delay Range:80ms~1000ms

Verb Delay features our Plate Reverb algorithm with Digital Delay to create an ambient atmosphere. Hold the footswitch to enter Alt mode to adjust the Verb parameter through Repeat knob, short press the footswitch to quit Alt mode.

Reverse Delay Range:320ms~1240ms

S.O.S, Sound On Sound is a 40 seconds stereo phrase looper for guitarists to practice and create new ideas. While in playback, you can quit S.O.S to select another delay mode and use the effect to play, without interrupting the playback. (Note: When quitting S.O.S mode to another delay, the delay effect will be engaged.)

Adjusts the delay time.Set the knob parameter to your desired sub-division, then use the Smart Tap Tenpo to get sub-division delay time related to tap tempo.

*Note: The maximum delay time is 1580ms by Smart Tap Tempo.

Adjusts the wet/dry mixing level of delayfrom 0% up to 100% when you turn the knob clockwise.

Adjusts the repeat numbers of delay. In Mod D. or Verb, hold the footswitch to enter to Alt mode, (the LED indicator will flash ORANGE), Now the Repeat knob will adjust the Mod or Verb parameter. Short press the footswitch to quit Alt mode.

This switch sets the bypass mode and Tone Lock. Selecting Tail sets the Buffer-Bypass to keep the delay with spillover while disengaged. TB means True-Bypass, there is no spillover while you disengage the effect. T.Lock means Tone Lock, an innovative function to store and lock your current parameter setting to prevent accidents on stage. After you set the parameters, just toggle the switch to T.Lock position, then the LED indicator will flash GREEN 2 times to store and lock the parameters. Then you can engage or disengage the effect by the footswitch and no worries.

Press once to engage/disengage the effect. Press twice, it will become Smart Tap Tempo. The delay time is related to tap tempo and current sub-division parameter. (The FS indicator will flash as current BPM.)

When the effect is engaged, the FS indicator will show Red. While the effect is disengaged, the FS indicator will turn off.

Footswitch & FS Indicator

In S.O.S mode, the footswitch operation is like a regular looper pedal. While REC, the LED indicator shows RED, while PLAY, the LED indicator shows GREEN, while OVERDUB, the LED indicator shows ORANGE.

In Mod.D & Verb style, holding the footswitch will enter Alt mode (the LED indicator will flash ORANGE), you can then adjust the Mod or Verb parameters via the Repeat knob. Short press the footswitch to quit Alt mode.
